Sports-Centered Design
Baza Sportivă Obor is a sports complex focused on ball games like football, mini-football, basketball, and tennis. The goal was to create a logo that combines text with elements representing these sports.
Unified Elements
I integrated the figures of a football player and a basketball player with the text, uniting them into one cohesive design. This reflects the diversity of sports while keeping the logo clear and dynamic.
Color Palette
I chose a palette of three main colors: geen, black, and white.
The green shade represents vitality and the playing field,
while black and white ensure contrast, balance, and versatility across various applications.
LOGO DESIGN
Dynamic Background Design
A dynamic, abstract background featuring green and white gradients was created to convey energy and motion. This background serves as a versatile visual element for various brand applications.
Sport-Specific Icons
Unique design elements represent each sport at the complex, including football, tennis, table tennis, basketball, volleyball, and skateboarding. These icons capture the essence of each sport while maintaining a cohesive style.
Scalable and Recognizable
The icons are designed to remain recognizable at any size, ensuring clarity in both large and small formats. Their simplified shapes and distinct silhouettes allow for instant identification, even when layered over busy backgrounds or abstract elements.

A detailed infographic system was developed to cover the entire sports complex. This included a site map, directional signage, and descriptions for each facility. The design ensured visitors could easily navigate the complex and understand the available amenities, maintaining a consistent and cohesive visual style throughout.

Project Impact
This project was an exciting and significant undertaking for the city of Sibiu, and it will serve the community for many years to come, benefiting both local residents and visitors participating in sports events. It is hoped that the infographic will serve as a helpful guide for navigating the complex, while the logo and overall identity will harmoniously blend with the venue’s atmosphere.
The grand opening was a great success, attended by the city’s mayor and many sports enthusiasts, including families and children, all passionate about sports.
